Music on the Quantocks >> Amazing, international-level mostly classical or sometimes jazz music in tiny, postcard-pretty Broomfield Village Hall and local churches and country house gardens.  Very informal, you can go in your jeans, but no compromise on exceptional performance quality. Gurney Manor Mill, Cannington (2 miles) 16C Water Mill with attached barns and buildings converted to a comfortable and atmospheric B&B. Just beyond Gurney Manor itself (see below).

Gurney Manor, Cannington (2 miles): Self catering, sleeps 9, good place for a group. Landmark Trust medieval manor with its own walled garden next to the river on the edge of Cannington, filled with ancient architectural detail and with an intriguing history to unravel.

Cannington Grange (2 miles) 8 luxury converted cottages and apartments, set in 3.5 acres of landscaped gardens – plus indoor heated pool, jacuzzi. gym, fishing pond, games room, outdoor play area, tennis courts.... Accommodates groups from 2 to 44.

Model Farm, Wembdon (3 miles). Self catering accommodation for large groups of up to 18. Accommodation is in imposing, spacious, south facing Victorian front of the 17th C farm and the more rustic Cider Barn. Lovely gardens and grounds for guests to use.
